Ethan Frome

The novel Ethan Frome involves three main characters, Ethan Frome, Zeena Frome, and Mattie silver. These characters are at the center of this story. Ethan somberly accepted the life he couldn¯t escape, Zeena, I feel, used her °ails± as a way to cope with her unhappiness, and Mattie, well I guess she just didn¯t know what it was like to so unhappy yet and was able to enjoy happiness where she found it.
