People from all over the world voyage to the "Land of Plenty" expecting that they will be given the opportunity of independence without sacrifice and toil. The abundance of jobs here in this country is one of many reasons that foreigners have sought citizenship in the United States. There are a number of jobs that don't require people to have good communication skills; however, the companies that avail these positions are repeatedly forced to hire someone that may not be qualified due to discrimination laws. On one hand this may seem fair, but on the other hand, a question should be asked, "What about the person who is qualified and is able to speak the English language fluently?" Although many employers may benefit from having an employee that speaks a foreign language, it is necessary that they are also able to convey proper English skills as well. Outsiders that do not speak English have very little chance of obtaining jobs that involve public relation skills; therefor, they are compelled to take laborious work that does not require a significant amount of intellectual capacity.
