John Jay

I, John Jay, feel that it is in the best interest of every state to unite as one new nation, a government of the people. As a new nation we can accomplish things we have wished to before, but weren't able to achieve. We will find new freedoms, and set the standards for many generations to come. I will be discussing the pros of Federalism, including our undeniable need for government, safety as one nation, discouraging war, and learning from Great Britain's mistakes.

In our world today there is an unquestionable need for government, without it we are not as strong as we could be as one. We should either become one nation or divide itself into separate confederacies. It is too convenient, too obvious that we should become united to each other by

In all I would like to say that having one united nation will provide the people with protection of their individual freedoms and rights. We could grow to be a very powerful and wonderful nation. It is up to the people to decide weather they would like protection and the freedoms they require to live a healthy and happy life.

Before building a nation of our own, we should take a look at other nation's mistakes to aid us in our decisions for a future government. In this I would like to use Great Britain as an example, Great Britain once consisted of three small nations that constantly battled one another. Doing this they made themselves totally useless instead of useful to each other. I must ask you why the same thing would not happen to America dividing into four small nations.<
