John Howard Griffin decides to change the color of his skin in order to experience, first hand, the racism towards blacks in the Deep South. Throughout his many journeys he watched the blacks endure horrible grief's in there search for equality.

When the blacks attempted nonviolent protest the whites would react violently and unfairly. In the video " A Time for Justice " the blacks protested by sitting at the bar of a diner. The whites in the diner reacted by beating up the peaceful blacks and the white cops unfairly arrested
