There are many valuable things in life, but friendship may be one of the most important. To live life without the experience of friendship, is life without living. Human interaction is a necessity to survival, but developed friendships are an essential to the successful well being of anyone. Based upon the American Heritage Dictionary, the definition of a friend is, "A person whom one knows, likes and trusts." To me, the person who fits this description is Anna Adams. She has always be trustworthy, loyal, comforting, and friendly since the first day I met her. With all the things I like about Anna I still have things that I dislike and even envy of her.
The first day I met her was in fifth grade on the way to a 4-H district meeting at Tybee Island. We got on a bus with all the other 4-Hers and that's when I first saw her. She was the friendly type, so she was introducing herself to a lot of people, including me. We sat down to begin our trip and we started talking. After about 30 minutes into the drive I op
Everyone, no matter who they are, always wants traits of another person. It could be looks, wealth, smarts, or even popularity. The trait of Anna that I envy most is her ability to meet new people easily. She can walk up to someone she has never met before and just start talking to them like she has known them forever. When it comes to meeting new people I am really shy. Even when I was little I hid behind my mothers leg when she was talking to an older person. I still have that fear of meeting new people today. Sometimes she inspires me to meet new people. She will say "Hey, go over there introduce yourself to that girl" and I will. Without her I wouldn't know as many people as I do now.
