During the 60s and 70s the issues on the 4th amendment came about. The growing population and the people getting educated on abortion and birth control, many people started to famaliorise in those methods, and the states objecting to their decisions they said that their 4th amendment was violated. Roe V. Wade case took place on December 13, 1971 and was reargued on October 11, 1972 and it was decided on January 22, 1973. This case is related to the abortion laws in the state of Texas. There was a pregnant single woman (Roe) who wanted to take on the action of abortion, but illegal in her state and it was said that it is only legal if the mother's life was in danger. Roe wanted to make a change and challenged the Texas court by saying that her 14th amendment was violated, which is the right to personal liberty and her 4th amendment was violated, which is the right to privacy.
