how to color
A detailed Summary of how to color
Coloring is a traditional activity of children, of all ages. When I was a child, I loved to color. Sometimes still, when I get bored, I will pick up a crayon and a coloring book. Its almost a therapy, just a few minutes to relax and do something useless. Coloring holds a certain freedom also. Ducks can be blue and the sunshine green. Coloring is a point of expression especially for a young child. It represents the acknowledgement of colors, the ability to identify objects or animals, and understanding of diversity. I learned to color at a very young age and I now consider myself an expert, but not an artist. Coloring, although seeming easy to an adult, is very difficult for children to learn.
First, a child must pick what picture they want to color or what object they will draw. This is a very important step because it involves the child making decisions, a skill they will need everyday. Once this is determined

Finally, the last choices consist of imagination and creation of color. The child should be allowed to pick any color they feel fits the object to be colored. Color is very important to children because it expresses what they feel an object should be, which may not be the color that it appears usually. I used to color things concretely, whatever color I had seen them as in life I colored them to match. I was very serious about staying in lines also. Lines mean different things to kids, some children may see them as limitations, while others may see them as a simple line that can be broken with a stroke of color running through it. Whatever way a child chooses to color, there is no wrong way.
, they must choose objects to draw or a picture to color. For me, it always depended on a mood or my interests. I went through a stage of only drawing people, and then animals, which then led to putting people and animals in houses.
