Should the United States maintain aid to Israel or should they eliminate the aid? That's something you should think about! The military aid protects America and Israel's mutual interests of peace and democracy in the oil-rich Middle East, where hostile nations are strengthening their armies. The American aid is increasingly vital because of the combination of trouble in Israeli defense spending, and the strain of immigrants on Israel's economy. America aid has two parts economic and military. Military strengthens Israel and the economic part keeps the economy a float. It makes you wonder why provide aid and assistance to Israel. It's because we get national security benefits in return.

Israel is the sole country in the region with free elections, free press, che


cks and balances to prevent and correct abuses of authority, protections for the rights of individuals and minorities, basic equality for women, and other rights. Majority of American's strongly support U.S. economic and security assistance programs for Israel. United States assistance to Israel has a critical impact on the security of the Jewish State. More than 90% of all aid to Israel is defense related.
