I did my paper on cloning. I think it is something that is important because it could effect our future for the better and worse. Some ways it could be for the better are for scientists to understand the cause of the human body. A way that it could be bad is because it could result in a lot of miscarriages and deaths among newborn. It could also cause family problems. I think that human cloning should be allowed to help study the human body, but it shouldn't be allowed for the use of spare body parts or something.

Before I tell you my opinions about cloning, I'll tell you about some information on cloning. Cloning isn't really new, it's been around since about 1970. There have been experiments with frogs and plants, but no one thought it was possible to clone a human until they cloned a sheep. The method they used to clone the sheep is called somatic cell nuclear transfer. Th

Some of the ways that human cloning can be good is it will help scientists understand the human body better. Also, some people don't like cloning because they think it is unnatural but some organisms only produce by cloning like snails and shrimp. They will be able to study the human body's genetics better, because cloning is about working with cells and DNA. They will be able to find the cause of spontaneous abortions, give oncologists an understanding of rapid cell growth of cancer, and learn more about aging, and medicines. They could also make clones for body parts to use in people, but they probably can't just make organs without making the body, so they would have to take body parts out of a person with a brain and a conscious, so it probably won't happen.
