What the first day of school has in store for me is terrifying. I have to wake up in the morning to get ready. I have to arrive at school and get my schedule, and I have no clue where to get it, and if that not worst enough I have to find my old friends. First, I woke up around 6:00a.m.to get ready for school because my bus arrives at 6:30am, and my parents are not willing to take me to school. I took a shower, brushed my teeth, and hair and dressed up in my Nautica clothing with my new Nike shoes. Grab my book bag and walked out of my house towards the bus stop. I didn't recognize anyone in my bus stop because I'm new to the neighborhood, probably most of the kids in my bus stop went to Northport Middle School rather the Dan McCarty Middle School but eventually these two groups of middle school kids will meet up in High School. I finally see a big yellow cheese-wagon (school bus) #336 coming towards us. I walked in the bus not knowing what to expect. I still don't recognize anyone in my bus; I saw an empty seat on the middle right hand side of the bus were I sat, not knowing that the seat was mine for the next three years.
Finally, I hope next time I'm more prepare for school. I should call friends and ask them where to meet. I should have asked someone in my bus to know where the lecture hall was located. I was scared but entering high school is a major step to adulthood and if I want personal freedom from my parents I should be able to show them that I can handle high school by myself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ When I finally see hundreds of kids who look like my age hanging around a building as I approach the building I heard a familiar voice calling my name, it was Jennifer Bass a person I know from middle school. She told me she had no idea I was coming here. I guess she figured that I was going to PSL High because I never told her where I lived. We walked together towards the building where everyone our age seems to be around and we figure out that it was the lecture hall. We went inside and found four long lines and four tables in alphabetical order giving out our class schedules. I found my table and so did Jen but we were separated and we never found each until the next day. I recognize the person in front of me and it was Kristina Johnson, I barely recognize her b
