"Nathan and I haven't had sex in three months" said Julie.

"Three months" Angie replied, "Well for Christ's sake what's wrong?"

"Well he's been working 75 hours or more per week, ever since Robby the Sr. partner was fired from the firm, and well he's out of town visiting clients at least ten days a month. And when he's not of town or working, he's doing something with the kids or sleeping. Angie it's so well....for lack of better words boring and lonely now! What do you think that I should do?"

"Have you considered the old fashioned come on," Angie asked. "I mean don't you have anything sexy to wear?"

"Nothing that he hasn't seen before," said Julie, "But maybe I can go and get something new today. You know something sexy like you said."

"Yeah," said Angie, "Let's go to Fredrick's of Hollywood, I've been dying to go in there, I hear that they have some really sultry things!"

"Fredrick's of Hollywood Angie? I was thinking something more like Victoria Secrets, or Gap Body. I want to be sexy, not kinky," said Julie.

"Well whatever floats your boat," replied Angie, "Let's just hurry before our lunch break is over!"

Julie picked out a red, three-quarter, silk and velvet, spaghetti strapped evening gown

"Are you sure" Julie asked hesitantly.

"I don't know" Julie replied. "It's Wednesday, and he has a weekly Wednesday ritual, of coming home, sitting down to eat with the family, doing a little work in his office, then sitting down with a glass of Scotch, and reading the evening paper. After he reads the paper, he usually takes a steam bath for a half an hour or so, then turns into bed."

"HMMMM, I don't think so babe, I am really tired. I had a long day today, and I've got to be up early tomorrow. Maybe another time huh," he said as he turned back the covers. He lay down to go to sleep.

"Hungry" she asked as she placed the plate in front of him. "I made your favorite this time."

"Smells good, and the fireplace is a good idea, it's cool tonight."

"Wow" said Nathan, "Where did you get that from?"

Julie sat up stunned for a brief moment.

"Five minutes or so" the sitter replied.

"Are you keeping track," Nathan asked.

He put on his pajamas and pulled back the covers.

"Nathan," Julie said, "We haven't made love in over tree months."

Dinner talk went on as usual. Questions and answers about school days and workdays. After dinner Julie hustled to get the kids ready for bed, and finish off her domestic duties. Nathan settled into his office until about 7:30. Her timing was going to be perfect tonight. At precisely 9:00, Nathan exited his office, to take his regular steam bath, and she got into character. For some reason her stomach had butterflies in it.
