salvation
My detailed Bible Study on Salvation Salvation is simply a gift of God. It is the eternal redemption of your soul. It is a promise of the Lord that you will reside with Him in heaven once this life is over as opposed to spending it in hell. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Romans 3:23,24 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.John 3:16 All have sinned and whosoever believeth gives an indication that every single person needs salvation. God desires that nobody goes to hell, but at the same time He know that many, too many will. It is really sad that people will perish when the gift of salvation is free and availible to all. Jesus paid the price for us: Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. Acts 20:28 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, an
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Mat 6:33 On the day of Pentecost, Peter proclaimed the keys to heaven that Jesus had promised Peter in Matt 16. These keys are repentance, water baptism and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. Jesus in Matt 28:19 proclaimed that baptism was important, Jesus told Nicodemus that one must be born of the water and spirit. In Mark 16 Jesus' words on baptism is even more stern.* He spoke of water baptism "can any man forbid water" as if it was something important. Then he commanded them to be baptized. Repentance is more than just being sorry, it is a desire to change. Not only are you sorry you sinned you do not want to repeat that sin. We all must repent or we will perish. So after we believe then we will repent. 2 Tim 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. Mat 3:1-3 They have form of being a Christian, but they deny the power that comes from the name of Jesus. They stop short of the full glory. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Rom 8:9 We are to seek, to seek you must beleive/have faith that there is something to seek for. So faith is the first step! d made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Rev 7:14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Eph 1:13,14
