aanalazation of Lady Macbeth

The changes in lady Macbeth show quite a few things. In the early Lady Macbeth she pushes her husband to kill by testing his man hood. Later on she lies to her friends saying that her husband is ill. And in Scene V, I she begins to feel dirty.

Early in the story when Lady Macbeth hears of the prophetesses she has the taste of power on her mind and nothing is going to stop her from getting this power. She talked to her husband about treason, and he agrees to do it because Lady Macbeth constrained her husbands manhood.

"You shall be what you have been promised. Yet I'm worried about your nature. You are too tenderhearted to take shortcuts. You want greatness. You are


not without ambition. But you lack the ruthlessness that's needed. You want high office by righteous means. You don't want to cheat but you'd win unfairly. Great Glamis, you desire what calls for a great deed - yet you are too scared to do it, even though you want it to happen." --- Act one Scene 5
