Technology On The Rise

A detailed Summary of Technology On The Rise

We live in a world of industrialization. Things are changing by the second and humanity is learning to adapt and keep up with the times. There have been so many remarkable advances that have made society stronger and more knowledgeable. There have also been advances that have a flip side to them. Everything is becoming easier and more accessible in today's world. Are we becoming too dependent upon the material items that surround us? Are we hurting ourselves and not realizing it? There are many things that people don't step back and look at. Analyzing what is really happening is very important and we must do so. Modern technology is developing too rapidly because it is posing a threat to human workers by replacing them with machines, challenging peoples' moral and religious beliefs, and eroding our ability to relate and communicate with one another.

We live in a computerized society. Computer technology is advancing rapidly and many new forms of computers are being made. Most everyone has heart of robots with immensely large intelligence levels, but how smart are they becoming? In science labs around the world, scientists are already using robots to do work. Not just bringing someone a sod

Cloning is a new issue that is on the rise and should not be taken lightly. A few years ago in 1996, the world heard of an amazing accomplishment. This accomplishment was the cloning of a sheep; her name was Dolly. This sheep was not the first thing to be cloned, though, and it will not be the last. Scientists around the world are trying to clone humans, and even with some government intervention, it is still being researched and attempted. Scientists are trying to create human clones for parts. This is completely unethical. If we were to create human clones, they would have to be treated like real human beings. Kayvon Fatahalian, Brandon Reavis, and Bennett Schneider believe that "cloning does not create life, cloning merely produces life from existing life"(Conceiving a Clone). How can this be said when we are creating life? This clone would be a human being and would deserve all the rights and privileges that a non-cloned human has. Still, there are just too man!

to make our work easier, but don't make them so they take over our jobs.

Other scientists are trying to make animal clones that have human organs. There are many problems with this. People who get the organ from a cloned animal could receive diseases that only that species of animal has. This is a big thing to think about because if this were to occur, a mass spreading of a virus could take place maybe even wipe us off the face of the earth. This is a serious matter at hand, and all the precautions need to be taken and made aware of. What happened to organ donors? Have we gone so far in technology that we have actually grow human organs? It's kind of scary to think about it, but maybe in the future we will be harvesting human beings just like we are trying to harvest human organs now.

y problems with cloning humans. A few potential harms of cloning humans would be: the possibility of compromising individualities, loss of genetic variation, there are also unknown psychosocial harms that could affect the family and society.
