As we progress in our revolution of technology, the internet, has become a uncomparable source to knowledge than any other. This knowledge has led to unbelievable discoveries and gives us ways to prepare for the future with almost without a doubt of what could possibly happen. The quantity of knowledge that is available via the internet is so great, it is so hard to take it all and translate into something that you can relate to. So, somehow you must strategically master a plan on how to manage the knowledge. A knowledge management strategy that answers questions such as, "What does it take to turn an intranet from publishing platform to collaborative environment for business advantage?" or "How do corporate portals fit into a knowledge management strategy?", is the Collaborative Enterprise System.
