i. Where does the story take place?

In a small town barber shop, somewhere in Mexico.

ii. When does the story take place?

At about two-twenty in the hot as hell afternoon.

He maybe the Author, or he calls himself a secretly rebel, but also a conscientious barber.

iii. What was the occupation (job) of the Protagonist? How did he feel about his job?

He calls himself a secretly rebel, but also a conscientious barber, and proud of the preciseness of his profession.

iv. Why does the Author use the first person point of view in the story?

A method of revealing characters personalities by directly telling readers, I'm assuming that the narrator is telling his own story.

v. What do you find out about the Antagonist? What kind of person is he?

Captain Torres was on a rebel-hunting excursion, but a kind person with job on his hand. Wasn't afraid of death. He was playing his cool. Clint Eastwood style.


Write an ending to the story about what happened after Torres left the shop.

Do a thought web of the Antagonist, and then write a paragraph. Discussing personality traits.

Captain Torres said to the barber that, they told him that the barber was out to kill him. Was Torres being Macho or did he have a death wish.

iv. What was the dilemma (problem) faced by the barber? What kind of conflict is he experiencing?

Captain Torres threw back his dark head and laughed at himself, as he stood alone on the street. Serious trouble was looming on the horizon. His troop was on the brink of a civil war. A war that would cost untold lives, maybe his own. They would fight to the last breath if necessary. His eyes are cat like and wicked. The confident stance, the supreme air of command, were not all that attracted Torres attention. There was something else. Something that causes an involuntary shiver to surge through his slender body, his troops too. Then he moved, He motioned to his troop to dismount and follow him, He sprang forward agilely and brought down his right arm with swift military. "Mmmmm McDon
