Stress level is very high in today’s competitive society. People’s hectic schedule is taking away their breathe time. Sometimes people are driven to the point where even when their time allows a break, they feel so heavy that they seem to accomplish nothing. They feel that they are suffocating. Now everyone has heard of exercising, doing yoga or meditating to release stress. However, if your time is already not enough to accomplish all that you need (isn’t this why you’re stressed out in the first place?) then you certainly won’t have much time to spare on those stress-relieve games. After experimenting around, here are some habits that I’ve found helpful—and don’t take much time.
1. Breath It in: beep beep, beep beep! That alarm clock keeps getting louder! It’s only 7:00a.m., why don’t I just turn it off and just stay in bed for two more minutes, I won’t fall asleep. Be honest, you’re familiar with that scenario. Now lets be optimistic and suppose assume that you do get up in two minutes. So that’s two minutes you’ve just wasted, and you don’t get any more rest. 4. Cut It Off: When you find it difficult to sit down to complete a task. You feel either so restless that you have to release some of the bubbling out, or you feel so pushed down that you can’t seem to think while sitting up. Either way, you need to cut that feeling off from what you’re doing. Do an activity that you enjoy—that requires leaving your working environment—whether it’s walking to Starbucks just to buy a cookie or going out for dinner. After doing this, your mind lets go of some of the stress so you’ll find it easier to do what you need to do.

2. Force Yourself: Just as you would have to force yourself to get up and run, you would need to force yourself to do many other things throughout the day. Don’t turn down every activity because you’re too stressed out, or merely “don’t feel like it”. Forci
