A detailed Summary of Redwall
2. a) The setting of the story Redwall by Brian Jacques is in the forest of Mossflower. In Mossflower there is a village where mice live and it's called Redwall Abbey. This is half of the main setting. The other half in outside the Redwall Abbey, but is still in Mossflower forest. This is a old church called St. Ninian's church. There is no specific time period for this story. The general environment for this story is in a little part of a forest where mice have a village that is trying to be taking over. The environment has to do with animals.
3. a) The story starts by telling that Redwall has been in a time of peace since Martin the Warrior put his sword down. These mice of Redwall are kind, unharmful mice that don't want any trouble. Trouble is coming though. A rat by the name of Cluny the Scourge was passing through the little forest of Mossflower when they were spotted by some mice of Redwall who were bringing animals back to there homes down the road from Redwall.
