Teenage Drivers

How wise people are is usually associated with how old they are. Many cultures hone their elders as the wisest among them. That is not simply because they are old, but because they have experienced so much more in life and have learned from it. Younger people do not have that wisdom yet, and are more likely to have bad judgment. Teenagers are not ready to handle the same responsibilities as adults. The current driving age is too young and should be raised to the age of eighteen.

Driving a car is a serious task and is not the game that many teenagers mistake it for. Many times driving is way of expressing how "cool" a teenager may be. Instead of taking their task seriously, teenagers are tempted to do risky and deadly trick to prove themselves

Many people argue that teenagers need to be able to drive because they have jobs, but the majority of teenagers have job so they can afford a car and insurance. Although having a job may be a beneficial learning experience for a teenager, if it is not necessary, the teenager can spend less time earning money for a car and more time on school work. If teenagers are not allowed to drive, they will not feel pressured to afford a car. Many high school teachers have seen that students without jobs have done much better at their school work than those who have jobs.
