The Funery Documents
The Funery Documents all suggest paths to eternal life, however, as the time passes on, there are very noticeable differences in the thoughts behind these writings. It appears to me that as the time passed on, the philosophies behind these writings began to have a bit more thought to them, even a little bit of hesitation to their thought. A Coffin Text begins with the god Re speaking to somebody who has recently passed away (18). This god claims to have created the world and everything within it. He claims to have made every man like his fellow and gave every man the gift of a freewill and that he never ordered any wrongdoing, it was merely the heart of the character (20).
