When I think of my past twenty years and try to figure out which year was the most significant in my life, 1992 comes to mind. In terms of the important events and changes the year when I was twelve was the most eventful. A very important thing happened in my life that year. My biological father lives in Melbourne, Australia. I did not know my father since the age of two and at twelve, for the first time in ten years I got an opportunity to meet my father.

In the year 1992, I visited a beautiful country, Australia. I lived there for a total of four months, and among other things that I did there, I attended school where I partially learned English. Of course, the most wonderful thing about my trip was my meeting with my father. This man that I never knew and only heard about was the most gentle and kind person. During those four months, I being only twelve lived through an incredible experience that left me with many great impressions and memories. I began to realize that families are not guaranteed to stay together forever. That is when I started my small leadership movement. I talked to children of my age and younger, who like me were from broken families, and tried to share my views with them on the life without both parents.
