Men Vs. Women
There is a commotion in the front hallway at school. You hear yelling and arguing, and backpacks being slammed down. The people standing around watching are being pushed and shoved, and it's obvious there is something bad going on. A young girl runs to find an adult or school official for help, meanwhile a group of guys are hooting and hollering, yelling "FIGHT!" and "BEAT HIM UP!" Do you find this strange? The fact that the girls go running for help and the guys stay around to egg things on and don't want to miss a second of the action? Since men are more technical, there are often more male engineers, computer analysts, and architects. Women being the nit-picky critics and the better communicators are found more in clothing design, interior decorating, and more speech oriented fields. Men's and women's abilities and desired actions are very much reflected in the! But why not dress little boys in pink skirts and name our little girls Bob? Can a little girl not make mud pies or a boy want to help mommy bake cookies? Well, the question of whether they CAN is not so much the issue as what just IS. Our hormones play a large part in how we act, what activities we choose to do, what we are called, and the things we are able to do.
