In our class we were Quadrant 7, each Quadrant consisted of a 10 by 10 Meter area were we calculated trees, and a 10 by 2 Meter section named section A were we calculated saplings and shrubs and last two sections names B1 and B2 which were each 2 by .5 meters in these sections we calculated seedlings and herbs. Turner Park was the second park we studied, at this park we were quadrant # 7, we had 5 trees, which was 5.1% of the total 99 trees for the class. The average amount of trees found in each quadrant was 9, Quadrant #5 had the most trees having 17 making up 17% of the total 99 trees and quadrant #7 our quadrant had the least amount of trees with 5 trees making up 5.1% of the total 99 trees. Quadrant's #1 and 6 reported no tree data . There were 4 different species of trees in our quadrant. The trees we had were the following 1 Short leaf Pine with the total basal area of 22in2, 1 Red Pine with the total basal area of 24in2, 1 White Oak with the total basal area of 31in2, and 2 White Pines with the total basal area of 1with the total basal area of 22in2with the total basal area of 22in2with the total basal area of 22in2with the total basal area of 22in2. Our Quadrant # 7 only had 1 sapling while group # 5 had 15 witch was Jack Pines. In Turner Park our Quadrant # 7 had no shrubs.
