When a Wal-Mart store moves into a town, many people's lives are affected. Some positively; others negatively. Some people are not impacted at all, while others may have little interest. For still others their lives could be dramatically affected.

These stores provide a convenient low-cost alternative for consumers. Wal-Mart is in you community for only one reason, to make a profit. It does not matter if that profit comes at a cost of other businesses; it is still called capitalism and it will have an impact on the economy.
