stephen king

Stephen king is an author that writes for people that like suspense, horror, and puzzling plots all rolled up in to one. When he was seven years old his father was lost at sea when he was a merchant marine. So many people believe that this was the cause of the type of writing he does. His missing father must have triggered a side of darkness that he writes in today's novels.

Stephen Edwin King was life begins in Portland, Maine in 1947, and the second son of Donald and Nellie Ruth Pillsbury King. After his parents separated when Stephen was a toddler, his mother raised him and his older brother, David. Parts of his childhood were spent in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where his father's family was at the time, and in Stratford, Connecticut. Stephen and his brother paid frequent visits to members of his mother's family in Malden, Massachusetts, and Pownal, Maine. When Stephen was eleven, his mother brought her children back to Durham, Maine, for good. Her parents, Guy and Nellie Pillsbury, had become incapacitated with old age, and Ruth King was persuaded by her sisters to take over the physical care of the elderly couple.

Due to all of the upsets and moving during his life Stephen began to write books. His books were mostly

Stephen King also started to become an actor due to his novels, because most of them became movies such as "Carrie, "Cujo", and "It" just to name a few of the many more. He did not have big roles in the movies. He was like the late director Alfred Hichcock. Were he had small roles, but you had to look for him, because he would just pop up out of know were. In one move he would be the pharmacist at a drug store, but in another he would be working in a hardware store. Stephen King had many reviews on his work some great other not so well, but I think they were all good. I think they just did not understand the plot of the movie. Here are a couple of his reviews from the Book Reviews: Stephen King c Copyright 2000, Skylar Hamilton Burris. Misery is an extremely suspenseful yet occasionally dull horror about a writer trapped by his number one fan. King's descriptions (particularly of pain) are well phrased. Also Probably King's most frightening book, Salem's Lot is one of his few novels that are not over-long. The vampire tale kept me interested almost the entire way through and maintained an eerie ambiance. Someone managed to make a terrible movie out of it, however.

In conclusion to my paper Stephen King had at tough child hood with the divorces and the loss of his father, But what if this thing never happened to him would he still be the greatest horror au
