The Agony of Not Understanding

A process of miserable, indescribable, gut wrenching, horrific, inhuman, suffering are all ways used to describe agony in ones life. Have there ever been moments that you wished you never experienced. Are they so awful, that you dare not wish them on your nemeses? Well these are feelings of those who were, are, and those who will live on this earth will experience. These are feelings that one holds in his or her heart with contempt for ages but with time turns around and says I'm glad I had that happen to me, it helped and strengthened me. When I was growing up I couldn't nor wouldn't understand this strange want for feelings that drive one to the breaking point and then, like a car chase in James Bond make a dramatic U-turn and all of the sudden your ok. That is a part of agony that amazes and leaves me utterly speechless when I hear stories of my friends that have had these personal experiences that seem to drive them to the edge of a high cliff. some of the most valuable lesson of my life. I not only see but also understand where these thoughts were coming from. Also I hear and feel those desires for the things that would help me through out my life; these are those desires to be stretched to the breaking point and see that extremely tall cliff. I have come to a conclusion it is all about believing in ones self that you can over come and in the end come out on top of the world. This was what I had not understood so many years before. Like all dads say, "when the going gets tough the tough gets going."

se for ourselves. Yes He can and will try to help us choose what's right but in the end it comes back to us for He will not choose for us this is his gift to us his children. I can imagine his worry and concern to what if we choose wrong. Like our parents God knows that we need opportunities to grow and if we never had these opportunities to choose for our selves we couldn't ever grow therefore we would be in a state of innocence that would mean we couldn't grow. If we could never grow I think that in the end there would be ignorance mixed with agony. The agony of wh
