English Response To The Outsiders :No 1.

Hi, it's me Pony. It's kind of a bad time right now but you may as well stick around. As you have probably noticed I'm at Johnnys funeral, gosh this is the fourth funeral I've been to in 8 months. At least I know what's coming so I don't cry in front of all these strangers or nothing. I'm up to do my speech in about ten more seconds as well, I think it will be ok, after all I spent all night on it. Ok I'm on, wish me luck!

"Johnny passed away 9 days ago. As you probably know I'm here to talk about Johnny's last moments with me. Johnny was a good kid, and as for those here who knew Johnny you could probably agree with that. But today I am going to tell you why Johnny was more than that. Over the last few weeks with Johnny I realised that he wasn't just anybody. He had all of the qualities that most look for in a friend or relation; you just had to look further to see them. I saw these in the time we spent together in the country. Some of these qualities were that he was kind, caring, understanding, smart, sharing and easy to talk to

When Johnny died he died a hero. He sacrificed his life for the lives of other children, and I knew that he thought it was worth it. This was because now he thought that maybe they would be able to see many of the things that he never had a chance to, and that is what makes him a hero.

When Johnny was in hospital he told me that he hadn't seen enough nor done enough to die, and that he didn't think 16 years was going to cut it. He also said that he wished he could go somewhere where there was no fighting and where people were just people, well his wish came true.
