With the coming of the Europeans to the new world it was inevitable that the Native Americans lives where going to change, as well as the Europeans. With differing views on almost everything the Europeans and Indians where bound for complications. Religion and the way Native Americans lived their lives was changed after many centuries. The coming of the Europeans was a culture change for both. Native American Indians occupied the land until the Europeans stole it from them.

The Europeans came to this new world with belief that the earth and the environment was a resource provided for them to manipulate and control. Europeans used this land in a much different ways than the Native Americans did. Property owning and fencing it in was common to the Europeans. The Europeans used the amount of what they owned as a popularity and social level. Their way of life consisted on the conquering and establishing of more property, unlike the Indians who believed in being a part of the environment.

Indians believed that exploitation of the environment and of its resources was wrong. Taking more meat than you need would bring bad luck in the future. Indians lived off what t


Although Columbus wasn't the only sailor that came to this new world and treated it and its occupants horribly, there were many more greedy Europeans that came and did the same, even worse. Many new settlers took advantage of the Indians, using them as slaves and treating them as animals. Stories told by the Native Americans who experienced the coming of the Europeans endured the treatment by them. Indians where shot and killed by the Europeans for no reason at all. Indians where used to find gold for the Europeans to take back to Europe, if they failed they would be shot.

The Europeans and the English wanted to control and develop the New World. The greediness of the Europeans is what led to the destruction of the Native Americans. The Europeans took what they wanted to expand and cultivate more wealth. The Indians were an added luxury in that came with the new land. They captured them and used them as slaves. Indians were no more than tools to the Europeans. The Native Americans had their own lives and beliefs that the Europeans took from them and replaced with what the Europeans believed.
