If you turn on the news, there is likely to be a story about music censorship. Or you can walk into a music store and see different ways in which music is being censored. Every CD that contains explicit language must be labeled with a sticker "Parental Advisory". The reason for this is because many angry mothers and fathers sued artists and/or records companies for releasing albums that contain explicit lyrics, and now the child goes and repeats their newly learned word to their teachers, principals, and other friends. Music is a way many people show their emotions and ideas; however, the questions still remain if music should be censored. Before you can form an opinion on this, you must hear both sides of the argument. Some people believe that music should be censored so all audiences can hear it without it containing any controversial lyrics.
