Martin Luther King Jr. was a strong African American leader inthe constant struggle for social, economic, and political equality. Kings leadership played a strong role in the civil rights movement. To prove the strong leadership abilities he lead peaceful rallies showing what he believed in, peaceful action. The speeches written and given by Martin Luther King touched the hearts of millions.
