There are many things that I can discuss when thinking about comparison and contrast, but the one that stands out the most to me is the difference between high school and college.
When I started college, I was scared and I didn't know what to think. How would it be? Would my teachers be anything like they were in high school? Would I get lost in the crowd? Would I make any new friends?
When all these questions started coming in to my head I started to laugh. These were the same feeling I had when I started high school. There were feelings of insecurity and fear in both situations. This was interesting to me. If my feelings were the same, let's see if there is anything else that would be the same.
After completing a full week of classes I noticed many similarities between college and high school. The teachers were helpful and really cared. They cared about their students and whether we were understanding the lessons or not. This realization was comforting, so I started to feel a little more comfortable.
When walking the halls it's like high school all over again the hallways packed with people shoulder to shoulder struggling to make it to there next class in time. I guess in this case you cant help but get lost in the
Like most schools, they both have attendance policies. The difference between college and high school is that in college attendance isn't etched in stone like it is in high school.In some cases this is a blessing, especially when you have an early morning English class that you can barely stay awake for.
Looking back on both experiences, I realize why I felt so comfortable. The teachers in both institutions were dedicated and caring. That gave me a feeling of security. That is the one thing that stayed constant. I hope for the sake of future generations that does not change.
