Journey
A journey can be defined differently by different people. To me a journey is an experience you go through that you learn something from or are somehow changed by it. I had an experience like this a few months ago, so I consider it a journey because A few months before school started this year I tried out for a hockey team called Maine Ghosts. At the time I didn't think that I had a chance of making the team because I wasn't good enough, so at the try-out I didn't try all that hard. Basically the only reason I tried out was for the ice time. Now that I think about it, even though I didn't think that I would make the team I still should have tried a lot harder than I did because sometimes, even if you don't believe it, you may be a lot better at something than you give yourself credit for and your ability may surprise yourself when you look back on it in the future. I got on the ice for the first try-out of three. I skated around, did the drills, shot passed the puck like I was supposed to. I figured I wasn't doing that bad but I still wasn't good enough to make the team, so I only did the drills and thing half-hearted. The other
The last game we played was good but we lost which is not a fun way to end a In the next game we tied against a very good team from Buffalo. I was very even though it was just for the ice time it may have been a bad reason but it did get me the hockey season. We had our very first tournament in Marlboro, Massachusetts which think of it that way when we lost a key game.
