Drug use in the United States is considered to be one of the largest problems in the country. Everywhere one looks, drugs can be seen in one form or another. Illegal drugs may be harder to spot, but they are there, according to the statistics. Many people in the United States become addicted to drugs, both legal and illegal. There is help out there for these people, all they need to do is ask. The sale of illegal drugs in the United States should be legalized because the government could then tax drugs that are sold on the market, drug use and abuse would decline, and the number of drug-related arrests would drastically decline.

Taxing drug sales in the United States would be an excellent way for the country to "beef up" its economy. A strong economy for a country is great, and an even stronger one is better. All different types of drugs can be taxed, and the rate at which they are taxed could be decided by the amount that has been purchased. Many of the co
