Frankenstein Essay

A detailed Summary of Frankenstein Essay

In the early part of Frankenstein, Frankenstein and his creation have a conversation. Victor says," I felt what the duties of a creator towards his creature were." Later in the novel, the creature criticizes Victor when he says, "You, my creator, detest and spurn me, thy creature to whom thou art bound by ties only dissoluble by the annihilation of one of us." These quotes relate to one of the major themes in this story, the responsibility of creator for the creation. People in today's modern society suffer just as much as Frankenstein's creation did with the separation of the creator and the creation.

One specific aspect of this idea would be of people who have some kind of deformities such as amputation to a part of their body, birthmarks in visible places, blemishes, acne problems, or even having freckles. The people who may have such deformities may be teased and taunted every single day for something they couldn't control. They were either born with the deformities or lost a limb as in an amputation. With Victor's creation as deformed and ugly as it is, the creation isn't accepted by anyone, not even by his own creator. Victor's creation has a lot of scars from all the stitching, and an awkward face along with an awkward figure. This is a perfect example and comparison of the monster and modern society problems people have. Another example is cloning. Scientists have discovered cloning, and some people think that it is wrong to make an exact replica of a person. In God's eyes everyone single person should be differen
