Whenever the topic of abortion is brought up most people think all the way back to the trial of Roe vs. Wade. This was the trial that made it legal for women to have an abortion. As a member of the Catholic Church, we feel that abortion violates the 5th Commandment, Thall Shall Not Kill. But the laws now state that t a woman has a right to chose weather she want her baby or not. I am righting this because I believe that if I can get people to see the importance of this issue that they can try does something about it. One point that is being strongly backed up, is the fact that some pregnancies are cause by rape. This is commonly found in teens that can't support the baby physically or financially. People strongly believe that abortion should be available to the victims of rapes, but not to any one else that wants to take the life of their kid. Either way the life of an innocent baby is going to be taken and that is wrong. I am also aware that many dysfunctional babies are being born because of mothers that have trouble with drugs and alcohol. If the parents are dumb enough to hurt their kids like this than they should be responsible for raising them or putting them up for an adoption.
