Anti-Social Personality Diagnosis

There is one individual who comes to mind when I hear anti-personality

disorder and that is an individual who I went to school with. This individual has been in

trouble with the law since he was 13 years old. He has been arrested for burglary,

assault, and numerous times for disturbing the peace. These continuing run in with the

law are symptoms of the pervasive disregard and violation of the rights of others. In

school he was constantly lying to the teachers about being late and never doing his

homework. The first criteria for a anti-social personality disorder is as indicated by three

of more of the following symptoms; Failure to conform to social norms, deceitfulness,

impulsivity or failure to plan ahead, irritability and aggressiveness, reckless disregard for

the safety of self/others, constantly irresponsible, and lack of remorse. His inability to

ever have enough time to do his homework fits the criteria for not planning ahead as well

as consistent irresponsibility. He was involved in constant fights while he was in school

crashed his truck into a tree on his return ride home. This is another sign of anti-social

committed several of these acts of reckless behavior. Also needed is, evidence of

refusal he was put in, In School Suspension. This is another symptom or not conforming

r nothing any normal individual would hit someone for. He would get mad

remorse when it was all said and done. The second main criterion for this disorder is that

which he never experienced, were paranoid ideation or sever dissociative symptoms. Or

if you beat him in anything in gym, and you could expect him to be waiting for you after

difficulty controlling anger. Although he does meet some of the criterion for other

weekend. He had been drinking and doing drugs at a house of a friend of his and had

personality disorders I would say that I see the greatest connection with the diagnosis of

possibility of being diagnosed with anti-social personality disorder. He currently is

conduct disorder
