Vittorio
I have found that not all squalls to books are as equally great as the first. In the case of Anne Rice’s book, Vittorio this holds true. When I first read the book Pandora, I was astounded at how much I enjoyed reading it, but Vittorio was not the same. It was dull from the very beginning, and it was hard for me to make myself read it. I feel that if it were not for this assignment, I would have dropped it with in the first two chapters. I began to think that it would soon pick up once I made it to about the middle, but I was wrong. Vittorio was also written as a journal/ story of his life, but to me his life was not interesting at all. Vittorio was born in the town of Florence, Italy. His mother died after she had his younger sister, and his father was never around. He grew up only knowing his older brother, younger sister, and their caretaker.
