A detailed Summary of three musketeers

In The Three Musketeers the good is triumphant over evil as in most books in the English language. The author, Alexander Dumas, represents D'Artagnan and the three musketeers as the good in the book, and Milady and Cardinal Richelieu represent the evil. Good is successful in defeating the evil because of the heroic deeds of d'Artagnan.

D'Artagnan is the main character in the story. He wants to become a musketeer, so he takes a letter of introduction to his father's friend, Monsieur de Treville who was the captain of the musketeers, so he can be accepted in the Royal Academy. On his way to Paris, where Monsieur de Treville is at, he is mugged and the letter is taken from him. He still manages to get in the Royal Academy, so he can become a musketeer. Athos, one of the three musketeers, is the oldest of the three musketeers. He is closer to d'Artagnan than the other musketeers are. Aramis is also a musketeer. He was to become a priest, but instead, he became a musketeer because an officer ordered him not to speak to a lady he was loyal to. In conclusion, in most of the English language books of fiction, good over comes evil. No matter what, evil never wins. Alexander Dumas' novel is an example of this, and also an example of what happens to evil.

Milady attempted to kill him with 2 assassins, but they failed, and then they tried again, and they failed one more time. She also tried to poison him with wine, saying that the three musketeers sent it. He did not drink it, and the person who did, died. While the musketeers were back aiding the king, they run into the cardinal. He was on his way to meet with Milady. The musketeers went with the cardinal to meet with Milady, but they listened through a broken pipe in the place she was !
