Hampton at a glance
As I walk about the campus each day and observe the different sites and interactions of the people, it amazes me how we are so different, but yet many of us are the same. I watch as we transfer from class to class, the scenery at the cafe on the inside as well as outside, the student grill, and the Chapel on Sunday. These are very interesting places to observe because you have so many different personalities and ideas uniting as one. And all of this takes place on the campus of Hampton University. Each day, many of us scramble from class to class looking like little ants running about lost. Then there is time spent front the Science and Technology building and the lobby of MLK and Buckman in between classes. In front of the Science & Technology is majority upperclassmen having their bonding time since many of them do not live on campus anyway. They all post up on the walls whether it is cold or hot and just chill and talk. Some play around hitting and chasing each other; while others show each other love by hugging one another and expressing themselves.
