Nations have specific reasons for entering wars. These war often have various results. In Southeast Asia there were many reasons that the participants entered the war. Along with those many reasons there were many different outcomes.

The first reason for the conflict in Southeast Asia during 1945-1975 was the splitting of Korea into North Korea and South Korea. After the division United States and the Soviet Union had to come to an agreement for an election. But the two nations could not come up with an agreement, so
