My beliefs are very different form those of the ancient Egyptianculture. The purpose of this paper is not to belittle the beliefs of this culture. But to state my opinion on this topic and to discuss the differences. First, I would like to start off with the Egyptian view on a heavy heart. The Egyptian culture thought that when they died that there heart would be weighed. They believed that for every good deed that you ever had done your heart would gain weight. And for every bad deed you have ever had committed that your heart would lose weight. Thus it was better to have a heavy heart than to have a light at the end of your life. The more bad deeds And to have a light heart would mean that, you have nothing guilty on your guides you through life urging you to make the right decision. When he dies it is not conscience weighing you down to feel bad about. Though two totally opposite heavy heart is better than a little heart. light they were unable to proceed to the afterlife as physical place were they would need tools, valuables and personal items though that he will go to heaven and be treated
