Hamlet

In this life there are great plays written by people in the past. We are Lucky enough to be able to read these great plays and analyze them until we become very knowledgeable and studied. One of these great plays is "Hamlet," written by William Shakespeare. It is tale of corruption, seduction, and revenge brought forth by the killing of King Hamlet. As young Hamlet finds this out, he is enraged with anger that his father's life has been taken away from him. This structure of young and old is used throughout the play of Hamlet in order to dramatize the Father and Son Relationship.

For instance, some person who has killed the father's has destroyed every father son relationship; in turn making the sons seek out revenge. In the case of Fortinbras the king of Norway, was killed by Hamlet Senior. This made Fortinbras junior mad and revengeful of Hamlet. Since young Fortinbras has the same goals of the older Fortinbras then this makes both son and father alike. Old Hamlet however, has been killed by someone who has put poison in his ear


e two relationships is between Laertes, who is in France most of the time, and his father Polonius. Polonius trying to listen in on a conversation is killed by Hamlet. "I'll sconce me even here. Pray you, be round with him." Laertes and Polonius don't really seem to have that much in common considering that Polonius is always concerned with finding out about if Hamlet is trying to plot something against the King.
