I have been noticing that there has been a mistreatment towards the Indians in India, coming from the British. It's not bad enough that we, the Indians, are not aloud to walk on the same side of the street as the British citizens, but you had to add on more laws that require even more strict guidelines for us Indians to follow. Now the policemen are allowed to fingerprint us, even if they just feel like it. We hear that a new law states that none other than Christian marriages are legal. This is implying that our wives are whores and our kids are bastards, which they are not! Because of these new laws, a policeman can just walk into my home for no apparent reason, and ask me for my pass card. I don't think that this system is very fair to us. Indians have to live in poverty, while the British have huge estates, that are very luxurious, and get to play some leisure sports. Why is it not allowed that we can't grow our own crops, or keep any of the commission we make? A!ll the Indians are working outside, in the heat, for what? If we are still going to live in poverty, what's the point? One last question, why must you tax salt? Salt should belong to each and every one of us on th

Kasturba was ashamed in him for this, and tried to make him realize what he was doing. Gandhi began making his own clothes, and living as simplest as can be. While Gandhi was still fasting there was a man that came up to him, he started to cry while he was telling Gandhi that he had just killed a little Muslim boy. When Gandhi asked him why, he said because a Muslim killed his son. Gandhi said to go find a Muslim boy, whose parents were killed, and raise him... as a Muslim. The man was shocked, but he knew that Gandhi was right. After India becomes a free country and Nehru was the Prime Minister. Jinnah, wanted a separate country called Pakistan, for all the Muslims to live. Gandhi was against this idea from the beginning, but he knew that Jinnah was an intelligent man, and would make a wise choice, so he left it up to him. The Muslims that were in India were moving to Pakistan, and the Hindus in Pakistan that were moving to India, were crossing each other's p
