Their were four main characters in this book: Dr. John Dolittle, Stubbins, Dab-Dab, and Polynesia. Dr. John Dolittle is a naturalist who can speak animal languages. Stubbins is the son of a tailor who became acquainted with Dr. Dolittle and joined the Doctor on his voyages a
