Everyone has their little place they go to get away from the stress of life. This is a place where they can go to relax and put everything behind them. There is a small lake out in Sweet Valley that I go to when I need a break from the stress in life; be it from school, women, or even parents. I just grab my fishing pole and tackle-box, hop in the car, buy a six-pack and go for a short ride to the lake. When I get there I can just sit down by my tree, relax and enjoy nature at its best. Out at the lake, the only things around to keep me company are the animals and Mother Nature.

One of the greatest qualities about this place is that it is secluded from all other housing developments. That means no noisy cars or people, just peace and quiet. Quiet enough that the only things that you hear are the water crashing against the shore

After I drink my last beer and smoke my final cigarette, I decide to pack things up to head home. I take one quick look around as if I were saying goodnight to all that kept me company. As the sun begins to set, the birds, frogs and fisherman are all thinking the same thing: It's time to call it a day. I pack up my pole, clean up the empty six-pack and hop in my car then head down the road. Still looking back at the lake, I giggle to myself thinking I hope that I have another bad day tomorrow.
