Robert Frost was one of the most well known writers. There are many

stories he wrote that are still very popular today. Even today in high schools and colleges

around the world students are reading Robert Frost's works. Robert Frost is one of the

best writers to read he gives a little something for everyone.

Robert Lee Frost was born in San Francisco, on March twenty sixth, 1874. He

was the first child of Isabelle Moodie and William Prescott Frost Jr. Robert Frost was

named after Confederate General Robert E. Lee (Grolier Encyclopedia, 1995). In 1876 he

traveled east with his mother. She was expecting another child and was upset with her

husband drinking and gambling. His sister Jeannie Florence was born in Lawrence,

Massachusetts on June 25th. When they returned to San Francisco in the fall, his father
