IMAX Takes Us Undersea in the Galapagos

IMAX Takes Us Undersea in the Galapagos

I did my report on “IMAX Takes Us Undersea in the Galapagos.” This was an amazing feat that these scientists accomplished. The Galapagos is located in the Pacific Ocean 100 yards off the coast of Marchena in the Ecuador. Although located on the Equator, strong ocean currents from the southeast bring in cold, nutrient-rich water, a large reason why the Galapagos has such lush marine life. The deaths of Aarchambault and Raisner, the challenges caused by El Nino, the difficulties of shooting underwater, and the pure raw experience of life and death in the Galapagos Island not only took i
