Discourse of a Mag article
What does the word discourse mean? Webster’s Dictionary describes it as a formal discussion of a subject in speech or in writing. Taking this in mind, I choose and analyzed the discourse of an article found in PC World called “Speed Secrets,” written by Jeff Bertolucci, The Article gives the reader an understanding of the differences between the different types of microprocessors and the other internal components of computers that gives them, their speed. After reading the article, I sat there and tried to imagine who exactly would be reading this article and for what reason they where reading it.
