Wolfgang Laib, with his modern sculptures, catches the viewer attention to look art differently. That is because that he uses very natural but extremely time consuming materials to deal, which also serve his concepts that impermanence and the moment. She was affected by surrealism and cubism first. Then she worked with Pollock and used "psychic automatism", the surrealist technique, that "doodles were used as a liberating device to outwit the conscious mind" (5).
