He was O. J. Simpson. He was rich, famous, living the American dream and known in almost every household of our country. In June of 1994 O. J. would become the talk of a nation, win air time over the president, and dawn upon the spotlight longer than anyone in recent history during the most controversial criminal law case of the century.

Orenthal James (O. J.) Simpson was born on July 9, 1947 in a small housing project near San Francisco. He grew up as an average "ghetto kid", but then something changed; O. J. became a high school football hero. His explosive style at running back landed him in the U


Besides the attention from his football career, O. J. lived in front of the cameras. Early in the 1970's, O. J. became the spokesman for Hertz Rent-A-Car and seen running through airports on billboards and magazines across the country. He was also involved in advertising deals with General Motors, Royal Crown Cola, as well as a long list of other products. Since his career began, O. J. has appeared in over a dozen films, many TV shows, hosted Saturday Night Live, and announced for ABC on Monday Night Football for several years. His most noted pictures were Roots and The Naked Gun and its sequels.
